What is Spiritual Capitalism?

Spiritual Capitalism is a global evolution in the way we do business. Instead of greed and fear, we unleash our intentional power of love, cooperation and integrity in business. People everywhere are starting to wake up to this evolved way of doing business. The question is… are you?

Old Systems Are Collapsing

The transition has already begun. The hunt for pure profits is over. You may be feeling this transition in your personal life too. Are things speeding up  or in a state of “transition?” Great, you’re riding the wave. You may also be noticing that things “not in integrity” are starting to collapse around you. Corporate greed, political corruption and religious scandals are coming to the surface. Believe it or not this is a good thing. Our collective consciousness is evolving.

Material Consciousness vs. Ethical Consciousness

Today, many people are coming from a place of Material Consciousness. It’s the mindset of money and possession. Love and integrity take a back seat to material possessions and a “profit above all else” mentality (aka greed). We are evolving from Material Consciousness to Ethical Consciousness. Ethical Consciousness says profit is fine and dandy, but it should not be the sole purpose of business. It is a framework for doing business based on creating profits while being in harmony with the people and things around you.  It means doing what’s right instead of making a quick buck.

The New Phase of Capitalism

The new phase of capitalism is known by several names. All of these terms apply because they address the shift from greed and fear based capitalism to ethical consciousness.

A Time of Integrity

Being a pure capitalist isn’t going to get the job done anymore. I know, I tried and I really sucked at it. Being in it for just the money doesn’t work anymore. Likewise, being all wrapped up in spiritual fluff isn’t going  to get the job done either. It’s important we stay grounded, focus on being sincere with our intent and act with clarity in the present moment. It starts and ends with the Golden Rule -  treat everyone (people) and everything (the earth, plants and animals) in business the way you want to be treated.

So you might be thinking, cool, let’s go tell a bunch of people about this. No need for that. The days of the charisma in business are of fading away.  This  is about character. That’s why the leaders of this movement may surprise you. They are change agents, millennials, female executives, spiritually-minded entrepreneurs, and many other every day folks who are “waking up” to the world around them.
