About Sean Murphy

Sean Murphy is a serial entrepreneur, impact investor and hospice volunteer. He is currently a managing partner at Niche Technologies Inc, where he oversees mergers and acquisitions for the company’s portfolio. He is actively forming a new social impact firm called Miracle Ventures.

Sean began his entrepreneurial career with LUX.com. With his brothers Michael and Darren, the company operated a network of 13 niche real estate and luxury themed websites. The company was sold in 2011 and recorded one of highest domain sales of the year.

In 2008, Sean co-founded VideoPros, a video production and management platform. National Geographic, the Knot, Delta and the Canadian Government all use the VideoPros platform.

In 2009, Sean co-founded Vidstore, a  video software development company. As a video e-commerce solution, Vidstore helps companies build streaming video stores to protect and sale digital content.

Sean received his BA from The University of Notre Dame where he double majored in Psychology and Theology. He also studied entrepreneurship at Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, rated the #1 undergraduate business school in the United States.

Sean developed his passion for writing, speaking and service with 3 time NY Times best-selling author Dannion Brinkley. He is currently a hospice volunteer with the Twilight Brigade, a non-profit that puts compassion in action to ensure no vet dies alone. Embracing this mission, Sean has visited hundreds at the bedside and been with 55 veterans in their final days and moments.

Through his education and experiences, Sean has developed a unique philosophy of life, particularly regarding the meaning of life, death and spirituality.  In is spare time, he blogs about his adventures on Murfdipity.com.
